Week of 4/29/13 - You are going to start auxiliary drawings. Use the link below for the list of drawings expected. You will draw the parts as usual and place 4 views on the titleblock - top, front, side and auxiliary -this is the true size and shape of the angled/sloped surface. Some dimensions will be placed on these views.

Week of 4/8/13 - You will continue working on your competition drawings - you must enter 3 categories. You can find the descriptions of the categories in my TS$ folder in the MITES Categories folder. There are also examples of some of the categories taped to the CNC machine cage. You have until 4/26 to have them done if we finish earlier we will move on! I will NOT accept these drawings after 4/26 as the competition has a due date and are not accepted after then. You may choose your part from Chapters 6, 7 or 14. You will be drawing single parts and make sure to get my approval before you begin drawing it.

Week of 3/18/13 - Continue working on the sectional problems listed on the link below when you are finished with the list you will choose parts of your own that you will enter into the state competition. Your choice must be approved by me. If you are completed with all sectionals go to my teacher share folder and look at the Mites Categories folder and the Mechanical Categories to see the descriptions of the categories you will be choosing from. Yes you will be entering 3 categories.

Week of 2/20/13 - Continue working on the problems listed on the link below, you will do sectional views, both half and full, and multiviews. You will also learn to use the loft tool for problem 7.55, so start this problem with the cylinder in the center.

Week of 2/11/13 - continue working on sectional views see the listed problems using the link below.

Wednesday 1/30/13 - Using the Orange Technical Drawing book, on the shelf by the 3D printer, we are going to do a review of sectional views so you are going to go to Chapter 6 Sectional Views and on page 194 define the key words and do the review questions. You should type your vocab at quizlet.com and then answer the questions in word. You do not have to type out the questions just the answers, if a question asks you to draw something just leave blank space on the paper and then print it out and then draw your answer. I would like this done by the end of this hour so that we can discuss them on Thursday and begin drawing Thursday also.
